…yes, as in the song…that has taken up permanent residence in my brain over the past 3 days!

I love Christmas music & have had the Pandora “Country Christmas” on steady for 2 weeks. I would really love if a DIFFERENT song would rotate through the steady stream in my head though. Hopefully Santa will drop a new jingle off this evening when he comes by
Merry Christmas Eve to you all! It will really feel like Christmas as soon as our office which is crazily making us work today shuts down, then I will have 13 days of bliss with NO work on the cards.
Saturday after checking-in with you all, we wrapped-up some last minute Christmas shopping. My only requirement to agree to even accompany Jon on this death mission was that we had to stop at Starbuck’s —

We survived, thank God because if we would’ve survived the Mayan apocalypse but got offed last-minute Christmas shopping, I would be pissed! Saturday after all that & some heavy lounging & final gift wrapping, I decided I needed to embrace my inner White Trash & make the White Trash. I love white trash, the people version are entertaining & this dessert version is even BETTER! If you have never made this, I suggest you DROP EVERYTHING right now & get started. Confession — I don’t even like white chocolate, but this stuff is like the good kind of crack. I also suggest you drink wine heavily while making it as I did & it turned out phenomenal. Here’s the recipe —

Feel free to toss in whatever other things you would like to put in your mouth at any given time add to the mix. Here’s what it might look like should you choose to embark on this amazing journey —

Sunday after a blissful sleep full of white wine & white trash, I hit the basement for a workout. Thanks to Dean Martin living in my brain, I bring you an aptly titled “Baby It’s Cold Outside…Warm It Up Inside” workout. This can be done anywhere & if no stairs are around, you can substitute in running or some other form of heart pumpin’ cardio.

Thanks to some White Trash I gifted the boys at Trader Joe’s Sunday while grocery shopping I would up with a nice freebie bouquet to take home —

The rest of Sunday was spent sneaking in bites of White Trash singing “Baby It’s Cold Outside” to myself, playing some baseball with my fav 6-year-old & pretending I did a good enough job to fake a manicure —

The day ended by getting a much needed massage. Who knew so much tension could be housed in upper arms & hands. I feel like a new person!
This morning I’m off for a Trainer Time Monday workout & then sitting hating work for being open hoping work goes quickly so we can begin the Christmas Eve festivities early!
Are you working today? What’s one Christmas Carol sure to stick in your head? Hope you’re having a wonderful holiday so far & if all else fails; just remember —

that chex mix thing looks freaking amazing. I love homemade chex mix but even a sweet one seems good
