Hey folks! Happy Wednesday! This has nothing to do with anything except for the fact that I enjoy people who wear wigs
& people with baby arms & people with eye patches.
I have nothing exciting to say about my day yesterday except for the lady who flipped me the bird when I was driving home from work…random & not in response to anything I did. Just driving past her house…nice & slow as it’s an area where kids are & she looks right at me & flicks me off. What a nice way to wrap-up a busy day!
Since today is Wednesday I’m joining up with a lil’ something called “What I Ate Wednesday“.
Anyone who is anyone in the blog world joins Many bloggers join up to the WIAW par-tay hosted by Jenn at Peas & Crayons.
Since it’s Wednesday morning & I could
without a doubt probably tell you what I’ll eat all day but don’t have any pics, let’s go with What I Ate Yesterday
Breakfast was “Non-Oat Oats/Breakfast Hash”
hot-mess in a near empty almond butter jar with a dab of Greek yogurt on top. Lunch was some roasted veggies with leftover turkey & avocado. And dinner was similar with a sweet potato, spinach, a garlic chicken sausage & marinara.
Snacks were a banana with PB & an un-pictured fruit salad. Drinks included lots of H2O, some LaCroix & a glass of vino post-dinner. Not pictured — a massive handful of dark chocolate chips consumed before bed!
Yesterday’s handwritten note in the lunch pail went over well — I’ll spare you the sappy details! Today’s Elf4Health challenge is to “Try a New Workout”. I opted for one from none other than one of our fabulous Elf4Health’s hosts; Lindsay at The Lean Green Bean. I used 15lb. dumbells for most of the exercises & a 40-lb. barbell for the deadlifts. This was an awesome circuit!
I wrapped up the above with a quick 15-minute cardio burst from the Nike Training Club app. This thing is awesome & totally kept me engaged until the end!
Duty calls! Hope you have an awesome day! What’s the best thing you ate yesterday? What motivates you to move — music, mantras?
