Hey folks! Happy Wednesday! This has nothing to do with anything except for the fact that I enjoy people who wear wigs & people with baby arms & people with eye patches.
I have nothing exciting to say about my day yesterday except for the lady who flipped me the bird when I was driving home from work…random & not in response to anything I did. Just driving past her house…nice & slow as it’s an area where kids are & she looks right at me & flicks me off. What a nice way to wrap-up a busy day!
Since today is Wednesday I’m joining up with a lil’ something called “What I Ate Wednesday“. Anyone who is anyone in the blog world joins Many bloggers join up to the WIAW par-tay hosted by Jenn at Peas & Crayons.
Since it’s Wednesday morning & I could without a doubt probably tell you what I’ll eat all day but don’t have any pics, let’s go with What I Ate Yesterday
Breakfast was “Non-Oat Oats/Breakfast Hash” hot-mess in a near empty almond butter jar with a dab of Greek yogurt on top. Lunch was some roasted veggies with leftover turkey & avocado. And dinner was similar with a sweet potato, spinach, a garlic chicken sausage & marinara.
Snacks were a banana with PB & an un-pictured fruit salad. Drinks included lots of H2O, some LaCroix & a glass of vino post-dinner. Not pictured — a massive handful of dark chocolate chips consumed before bed!

Yesterday’s handwritten note in the lunch pail went over well — I’ll spare you the sappy details! Today’s Elf4Health challenge is to “Try a New Workout”. I opted for one from none other than one of our fabulous Elf4Health’s hosts; Lindsay at The Lean Green Bean. I used 15lb. dumbells for most of the exercises & a 40-lb. barbell for the deadlifts. This was an awesome circuit!
I wrapped up the above with a quick 15-minute cardio burst from the Nike Training Club app. This thing is awesome & totally kept me engaged until the end!
And a special shout out to FitRadio for some awesome tunes this morning during my workout. Check out this app if you haven’t yet. Good shit stuff! We’re even BFF’s on Twitter now
Duty calls! Hope you have an awesome day! What’s the best thing you ate yesterday? What motivates you to move — music, mantras?

haha…I love that someones name on twitter is DJMapleSyrup…I wish that was mine.
The best thing I ate yesterday was an awesome honeychrisp apple!
I love maple syrup so would love that twitter handle! There is nothing better that a super delish apple!
Yikes, some people can just be rude!
Food looks great!
I’m motivated to move by music, and always just imagining how good I feel afterwards!
The best thing I ate yesterday was an orange. Yes, an orange. It was one of the few things I actually ate yesterday. Today I am STARVING.
Mmm the vino sounds good post-dinner, sometimes all I want after din instead of a dessert is a glass of red too. But OMG wine with chocolate, especially dark, is so great. Have you heard of Brix Chocolate? Chocolate MADE to be paired with diff wines depending on what % of cacao it is! That Wig Wednesday thing made me LOL.
Ummm, no, I have not heard of that chocolate but am googling it right now! Yum!
I tried it at a wine festival! Ahh life changing.
Mmmmm, oats sound delicious right about now!
Thank you for the link to the 22 cheap and easy ways to eat healthy! I feel like I’ve gotten it decently downpat, but it’s always fun to find something new! =]
Mmmm good read wine. And TJ’s dark chocolate. I’m kind of obsessed with everything they have
*red..long day ha
I’m a TJ’s junkie
And agreed on the long day, I’m about to have some of that “read wine” now!
glad you liked it!!
Haha, I LOVE Natalie Dee!! And that workout looks great! I love short, intense workouts. They always kill me if I push myself hard enough and they are so effective for such a short amount of time.
