So yesterday was Fake Wednesday, today is I guess a Thursday?!? I don’t know, all I know is that I did way too much work yesterday for what is supposed to be an easy week!
Not how it happened yesterday! After a 3-hour late afternoon meeting WTF?!? I had to go into the bowels of hell Trader Joe’s & Target. Luckily it was not as disastrous as I thought it would be for a holiday week & I might’ve managed to get tons of wine everything I need so I don’t have to go back this week. I’m sure that statement will come back to bite me in the a$$! By the time I got home I was tired, hungry & just wanted to sit on the couch. Too bad I had big plans — cauliflower “pizza” crust time which really translates to “Jon was at school so I could try a new recipe I knew he would have no interest in eating time”. I started off using this recipe for the crust —
Once the crust was done I topped it with some marinara, a chopped TJ’s salmon burger, mixed bell peppers & mozzarella. It turned out pretty well although not well enough I can pull a fast one on any normal pizza connoisseurs.
While navigating through hell on Earth (grocery store during the holidays) earlier, I stumbled upon this beauty. Brew this up, mix it with some stevia & coconut milk & “Good Night Nurse”!
The other super-stimulating exciting part of my day yesterday, signing up for The Lean Green Bean’s “Elf4Health” challenge. I’m pretty excited to pair-up with some other bloggers to learn some new tips & tricks to keep us all motivated throughout the holidays. Plus the button is super-cute…BONUS
When I woke-up this morning I laughed when the 1st thing I saw on my phone was something I found on Pinterest —
I’m going to take this in a positive way & spin it as “dominate whatever comes your way today!”. I decided to punch this morning in the face by knocking out this “Treadmill to Track” workout.
I’m loving finishing up a workout with a 5 minute tabata — this mornings was slam balls & toe-taps. Great way to squeeze the last ounce of life energy out of you
I need to wrap this up & grab some coffee & breakfast before heading off to doomsville work for the day.
In the holiday spirit this article from Huffington Post caught my eye this morning — “9 Thanksgiving Nutrition Myths, Busted“. This one is my fav!
Make it a great fake Thursday or Tuesday or whatever you want to call it. How are you going to dominate by punching today in the face?
ps. Still involved in WEGO Health’s #NHBPM where you post daily about health. The prompts they have given for guidance each day are good & many topics I’ve managed to cover in posts throughout this month

yay!! glad to have you!
haha love the idea of punching the day in the face! and you should post your tricks on leaving target without spending a bunch haha. I dont have that ability
I’m up way too early so I’d really like to punch today in the face!! haha!
I’m jealous of you Americans and your short week. Can I get Thanksgiving back again for us Canadians?? hmph!
Have a lovely day. And the food looks gooooooood!
