It’s almost Thanksgiving…YES! Let’s get this short week started shall we?!? Here’s some Monday motivation for you to keep a positive spirit throughout the day…thanks to Lululemon
After a busy weekend of performing with the Rockette’s getting in the holiday spirit, I was all too happy to head to bed early on Sunday evening.
This morning I had a session with my trainer & it was an awesome super-long weight circuit followed by some metabolic intervals. Obviouslly she’s getting us ready for gorging ourselves indulging on Turkey Day
If you’re not familiar with “metabolic training”; this video does a decent job of explaining.
With all of this workout & Turkey Day talk my ears perked when the Today Show ran a segment titled “4,500 Calories for Thanksgiving: Fact or Fantasy?” Sounds like our Thanksgiving Day meals are essentially calorie free lighter than we think. It’s all relative though depending on what you choose to indulge in.
Greatist.com will help explain “Why Am I Tired After Eating a Big Meal?” One of Colleen’s prompts from The Chocolate Mile’s #21Days Challenge was to take a moment to plan Thanksgiving indulgences. I will say my only goal this Thanksgiving is to not eat until I pop feel uncomfortable. I love the company, atmosphere & food on Turkey Day & don’t plan to hold back with eats or drinks!
Hope your Monday goes quickly — are you working this week? Ever done a metabolic workout? What is your “Thanksgiving Strategy?”

My strategy is about the same as yours. I think the big one is “only one piece of pie.”
I just love pie.
